Enable Spellcheck

Tick this option to enable spellcheck in the Notes Window.

Dictionary Choose your preferred dictionary for spellchecking.
Custom Dictionary You can flag words to be ignored, so that the spellcheck does not flag them as misspelled.  All such words are stored in the Custom Dictionary.  By default there is only one: Custom.
Advanced When you click on a word in the Notes Window, using the right mouse button, Family Historian will offer you the opportunity to look up the work in a web-based dictionary or thesaurus.  The lookups can be configured using the Advanced dialog.
Default Font Unless you override it, the font in the Notes Window for any given text, is shown as 'automatic'.  This means that it is shown using the default font.  You can change the default font here.  The font used in the Notes Window is the same font that is used in the Property Box, so changing it in either context will affect both.
Force Property Box to float when displaying linked records (other Note Window options) If you click on a record link in the Note Window, the record will be displayed in the Property Box.  By default, if the Property is docked it will remain docked (but will flash slightly), and if it is floating it will remain floating but will come to the front.  This option, if ticked, will cause the Property Box to be forced to float (and come to the front), whenever you click on a record link in the Note Window.
